This is a fun literacy center to help your children identify the letters of the alphabet. Included are all the letters of the alphabet, upper and lower case, and three follow-up assessment options. Children will match a lower case letter (frogs) to a capital letter (lily pads).

First, the children lay the lily pads out in alphabetical order.

Then, the children work to match the lower case letter to the capital letter. This adorable clipart helps to add to the fun! All children loved this center, no matter their level! Sometimes throwing in a few "easier" centers can be a real confidence builder for many children.

We have also included three different assessments for you to chose from.
In this assessment, children draw a line matching the upper case to the lower case letter.

In the next assessment, children will read the letter that is already written and write its letter partner. It might be a lower case or a capital that is needed.

The last assessment is a cut and paste activity where the children will match the frog friends by matching lower case and upper case letters.

We hope your children love this Leaping Letters center and follow-up activities!
