With the beginning of the school year upon us, it is time to start thinking about setting up our classroom for a new group of lovlies. Being organized can be a big bonus during this time of the year. We have come up with a few ideas of our own, we have seen lots of great ideas on Pinterest, and we would also like to hear from you and see what great ideas you have for organization. Here are some of our ideas:

#1~This is a small expandable pouch we found in the sale section at Target. We were thinking we could easily store our sight word money in these pouches.

#2~This was another Target find. We are thinking we will use these to store our theme related center activities. We love the fact that they are vertical for easy storage.

#3~This little container is so cute! We have to admit that we fell in love with the cuteness of it first and then thought about what we could use it for. We have several of these in our classrooms and their usefulness is just endless. We use it in the writing center to hold crayons, pencils, and erasers. They are just like the paper sized ones, only smaller. These containers help the writing center look a little neater at the end of the day. In our school our children have to order their lunch choices everyday. So we store the pictures of the food in here too for easy access every day.

#4~We found these containers on Amazon. The black cup sits inside a clear cup so we were able to make a label and wrap around the inside cup. These containers help to keep the pencils organized and helps to know when it is time to sharpen more!

#5~This is a great sized toolbox we use to keep our behavior awards. We use a ticket system where children can earn or lose jungle animals for classroom behavior, participation, etc. The children LOVE these animals and the incentives they can earn by saving them. Check out our Terrific Tickets to see what classroom rewards we offer...No prize box needed! These name labels organize where students store their saved jungle animals until they can cash in for a ticket. #5~This is a great sized toolbox we use to keep our behavior awards.

#6~This is a fast and easy way to hang up student work! We cut the edge of the page protectors and then hung them up on the wall using Velcro. It makes it very easy to slide out the old work and replace it with a new one.

#7~We love our days of the week drawers. These drawers help us organize our lesson materials for the week while also keeping them adorable and dust-free! We have tons of drawers labeled in this way and it makes our classroom appear neat, tidy, and of course.....thematic! If you like these labels, you can get them free here

#8~This is a great find from Ikea. You can pretty much use these drawers for anything! From folders, to books, to math manipulatives, you name it!
